Madelyn Cline und Madison Bailey trafen sich mit Terri Seymour von „Extra“, um über die vierte Staffel von „Outer Banks“ zu sprechen, in der die Pogues auf der Suche nach Blackbeards Schatz sind.
Madelyn neckte uns damit, dass die Beziehung zwischen John B und Sarah wachsen wird. Beide haben am Ende der dritten Staffel ihre Väter verloren, und wir machen nach einem kleinen Zeitsprung wieder weiter.
Madelyn bemerkte: „Von jetzt an, aufgrund all der Komplikationen, die wir hatten, oder der Konflikte, die wir hatten, denke ich, dass die Entschlossenheit von nun an darin besteht, dass wir uns gemeinsam darum kümmern. Wir heilen gemeinsam. Wir lösen Probleme gemeinsam, nicht einzeln, und wir vertrauen einander, wie Sie wissen.“
Sie fuhr fort: „Ich denke, es bedeutet viel Einigkeit und auch Vertrauen in die Entscheidungen des einen oder anderen, gegenseitige Unterstützung und auch das Reifen als Partner.“
Trotz aller Jiara-Stans neckte Madison, dass JJ und Kiara „zusammenwachsen“, aber „einen kleinen wilden Ritt durchmachen“ werden, und bemerkte: „JJ ist immer noch JJ“! Sie fügte hinzu, dass Kiara offenbar „ein Faible für ihn“ habe Spielereien.“
Am Ende der Staffel kamen Kiara und JJ zusammen, aber der Schöpfer Jonas Pate neckte kürzlich, dass eine Bombe bevorsteht. Hängt das mit Kiara und JJ zusammen?
Madison sagte wortkarg: „Hmm. Deine Worte, nicht meine.“
„Es hört sich an, als wollte er dich abschrecken“, mischte sich Madelyn ein.
Madison stimmte zu: „Vielleicht, weil Kiara eine Fahrerin ist. Ich dachte: ‚Ich weiß nicht, was passiert. Was für eine Bombe?‘“
Terri sprach auch mit Chase Stokes darüber, wie John B und Sarah sich über den Verlust ihrer beiden Väter hinweg verbunden fühlten, und sagte: „Ich denke, das ist eine dieser Situationen, in denen sie dadurch eine gewisse Verbundenheit finden.“ Wissen Sie, sie haben beide solch katastrophale Verluste erlitten und jetzt haben sie nur noch einander und ihre gefundene Familie übrig.“
Laut Chase geht es in der Staffel darum, „auf das Geschehene zu schauen und zu versuchen, in die Zukunft zu blicken und einige der schlechten Verhaltensweisen und Traumata hinter sich zu lassen.“
Er fügte hinzu: „Ich denke, es geht viel darum, die Ereignisse vergangener Zeiten zu nehmen und eine Entscheidung zu treffen, sich selbst gegenüber ihren Fehlern und Entscheidungen in der Vergangenheit zu wählen. Ich denke, dass dies sozusagen die beste Version von John B und Sarah ist. Da ist das.“ Eine Art traumatische Bindung über den Tod ihrer beiden Väter, aber letztendlich haben sie sich am Ende der Staffel für einander entschieden, und das stellt einfach die Zeit neu und sagt: „Was werden wir tun?“ Werden wir weiterhin schlechte Gewohnheiten und alte Muster wiederholen, oder werden wir weitermachen, die Seite umblättern und ein neues Kapitel beginnen?“
Rudy Pankow äußerte sich auch zu der Beziehung zwischen JJ und Kiara und teilte mit: „Ich denke, es ist eine Achterbahnfahrt für sie in dieser Staffel … Ich denke, als Freunde anzufangen und dann eine Beziehung einzugehen – wissen Sie, Freunde sind eine Sache.“ Ich denke, JJ und Verantwortung, wissen Sie, das ist es, was diese Staffel zeigt, dass JJ herausfindet, ob er in einer Beziehung so verantwortungsbewusst sein kann.
