If the situation of the National Stock Exchange Agency of Gabon (ANBG) was most critical in 2024, we can nevertheless note some good points.
Indeed, scholarship students, both in Gabon and abroad, have faced delays in payment of their allowances this year, plunging many of them into extreme financial precariousness. Unpaid tuition fees have caused harm to many of our students: lack of access to the academic results necessary for scholarship renewal, among others.
The management of the ANBG, under the leadership of Professor Rufin Ndjambou, was criticized for its management and at the same time suspended several collaborators involved in the misappropriation of our students' scholarships. Reforms are considered necessary to restore confidence and ensure the proper functioning of the Agency.
In 2024, ANBG also launched several activities and scholarship programs, including National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) scholarships, i.e. 340 scholarships for civil aviation training.
The “Bourse Francophonie” program: 25 scholarships for final year science students. International partnerships: scholarships for studies in Türkiye and at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. These initiatives aim to support access to higher education for all Gabonese students from different social strata.
